No plumbing, no landlord approval, nothing permanent. This is a countertop dishwasher with a built-in 5.2 L (1.4 gal) water tank, so it works in rentals, older homes, RVs — anywhere you'd rather not touch the plumbing. Two ways to fill it:

• Tank mode (no hookup at all): open the tank lid and pour in about 5.2 L (1.4 gal) — roughly 3 pitchers. You'll hear 3 beeps when it's full. Choose your cycle and press START/Pause.
• Faucet mode (for back-to-back loads): remove the silicone plug from the inlet on the back → attach the inlet hose → connect the other end to your faucet and tighten it → open the faucet valve → choose a cycle and press START/Pause.

Water pressure: it runs on household pressure from 0.04 to 1 MPa (about 6–145 psi). If yours is below 0.04 MPa, the manual recommends adding a water inlet pump. If the included hose doesn't match your faucet, you'll need a threaded faucet adapter — not sure which one? Message us and we'll point you to the right part.

Good to know: a cycle starting doesn't mean the tank is full yet, so don't shut the faucet while it's still filling. If filling is interrupted, the machine stops, the red water-shortage icon and the faucet icon flash and it lets you know — once the water's back, press START/Pause once to resume. In tank mode, once you top the tank up the cycle picks up again on its own.

Five place settings per load — the largest capacity in our countertop line, and enough for a household of 2–4. Inside you get a full-width lower rack, a removable upper rack (lift it out when you need height for pots and tall glasses) and a dedicated cutlery basket, so plates, bowls, glasses and flatware all have their place.

Will it fit my counter? The unit is 548 × 360 × 496 mm (21.6 W × 14.2 D × 19.6 H in) and weighs 15.8 kg / 35 lbs. It is a wide machine — measure your counter width first and leave clearance above it for the door to swing open and for filling the tank from the top. The payoff for that width: at only 14.2 in deep it sits back against the wall and still leaves usable counter space in front.

Loading tips (per the manual): hollow items — cups, glasses, jugs — go opening down; angle utensils with the soiled side facing the spray arms; leave the spray arms free to spin; and just scrape off large scraps — no pre-rinsing needed.

Use the detergent you already have — no proprietary pods, no subscription. Add the recommended amount to the detergent dispenser on the door; the Fruit cycle needs no detergent at all.

• Powder or tablets/pods are both fine — the manual asks for a dishwasher-specific dishwashing powder or tablets.
• Powder is easier to dose on a compact machine: a single full-size pod is usually more detergent than a countertop dishwasher needs, and in hard water that's what leaves film behind.
• Never use hand dish soap or a homemade mix — that's what turns the tub into a foam party and hurts cleaning.
• Too much foam? Switch to a dishwasher-specific powder or tablet, and rinse any detergent residue off the dishes before you run again.

No — that's one less thing to watch. Once the tank is full you can simply leave the faucet as it is; per the manual you may close the valve or detach the inlet hose if you want to, but neither is required. (Plenty of countertop dishwashers insist you shut the water off — this one doesn't.)

Putting it away for a while? Drain it completely first, then disconnect the hose and turn off the water valve and the power — water left in the lines or internal parts can damage the machine.

Need to empty the tank on purpose? With the machine powered on and in standby (the POWER button is flashing), hold Air Refresh + POWER for 3 seconds to force a drain; hold POWER for 1 second to cancel it.
